How it started to recently completed in Elma, Washington. This Coval Helena project is a prime example of how our homes are just a reflection of the natural beauty of their surroundings.  As an on-your-lot builder, we don’t get to pick the land, but we are honored that a Coval Home was picked to sit on this beautiful piece of land.

A Perfect Plan for Narrow Lots

There’s no doubt that this is somebody’s dream lot.  The views are gorgeous not only do they have water views, but on a clear day you can see the Olympics on one side and the Cascades on the other.  It is fitting that the Coval Helena plan was selected for this lot.

How it Started – The Perfect Lot Atop a Hillside in Elma

As a contractor we see several types of lots, cul-de-sac lots are typically shaped like triangles. Unless you go fully custom which can be pricey or your floorplan looks like a triangle most home plans are not going to work.  The reason why this plan works is because it’s narrow and it’s two story.  Not only does it maximize the livable space it makes that livable space more energy efficient.

Constructing The Coval Helena on a lot in Elma

Once the horizontal development aspects of the build were completed and approved by Pierce County, the vertical development began. This particular Coval Magnolia build had no architectural changes at the homeowner’s request. All of what you see here is standard.

Starting with Semi-Custom and Ending with Custom

Making architectural changes, although limited in terms of what can be done, is a good way to really customize a build, making the home unique to the homeowner.
